Stop Animation!

Golf Middle School students in sixth grade created stop animation videos this year! Here are some videos for you to enjoy :)

7th & 8th Grade Mosaics

The seventh and eighth grade students created beautiful mosaics using canvases, glass mosaic tiles, and mortar. We were able to do this project thanks to a grant from the Golf School District 67 Foundation. The students spent time researching different mosaic designs, then planned their own piece. Some students added paint to fill in their background. The result was beautiful! I am so proud of their hard work.

4th Grade Mandalas

The fourth grade students are creating mandalas in class. We recently watched a few videos of Buddhist monks creating mandalas out of sand. We all were very impressed by the amount of work it takes to create these sand mandalas and the significance behind destroying them once they are completed.
