Two years ago, a group of students and I created a mural using the word 'perseverance' and translating it into all of the languages that are spoken in our community. It was an amazing experience, and we were able to get information from students, parents, and even grandparents, making sure that our translations were correct!''
This year I will be beginning Art Club, and one of our goals will be to create more artwork that can be permanently displayed in our school. Until then, here are some pictures from our 'Perseverance' mural! It is hanging in the gym at GMS where all students can enjoy it!
This is one of my favorite pieces! I love the message on it's own as well as how it's representative of the different cultures of our amazing students.
